James deeply appreciates the American ideals of life, liberty, and justice. He brings his commitment to these ideals to his work in national security in Washington, D.C. James also serves as the Director of Defense Innovation at a D.C.-based think tank. His work spans six continents, where he has witnessed the power of these ideals in action.

James’ drive and passion for service fuel his desire to make a difference. Whether through his work in humanitarian and post-disaster aid in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Western Africa, and the Caribbean or through his two start-ups, he seeks to bring positive change in the world. 

As a member of Progressive Path’s Board of Directors, James brings this same spirit of service and commitment to the people of Ukraine. In the face of ongoing aggression from Russian forces, the Ukrainians need international help more than ever. James is honored to be a part of an organization that is doing all it can to support them.
